Ecole Laurier is hoping to build an outdoor classroom and you can be a reason why they do so.
The school will be hosting a Touch-A-Truck fundraiser on Saturday from 11 to 2 at the school's playground. The event will give kids an opportunity to see a number of different vehicles that will be on location.
The vehicles include a fire truck, an RCMP vehicle, a semi-truck, excavators, and jeeps, to name a few. While this event is geared towards kids between the ages of two and 12, those of all ages are welcome to attend.
If you are between two and 12, you will be getting a passport and a lunch.
Tina Krieser with the fundraiser says it's going to be a fantastic day for everyone involved.
"That passport and lunch will be just $5 for the kids between those ages," said Krieser. "The kids will then take the passports around every vehicle and once they get a sticker for each one, they can enter the passport in a free draw."
There will also be a BBQ canteen, face painting, live music, a door prize, and a special silent auction prize. All of the money raised will go towards building an outdoor classroom.
