Around 10:40 pm on Monday, May 29th, the Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a shooting on Migizi Street on Skownan First Nation.
Officers and emergency crews responded immediately, and a 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation found that the victim was outside talking to two male suspects in a black Jeep when an argument started. One of the suspects shot the victim from the vehicle, and then the pair fled the scene.
The vehicle is described as a black 4-door Jeep with tinted windows.
Description of suspect 1:
Male, Indigenous in appearance, approximately 30-40 years of age with a beard.
Description of suspect 2:
Male, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 30-40 years of age wearing a white hoodie.
