Manitobans still have the opportunity to win one of many cash prizes in the province's first-ever "vax to win lottery."

The requirement for entry to the first lottery is to have one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine on or before August 2nd, Premier Brian Pallister, along with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries announced today.

Manitobans who have chosen to get vaccinated will have the chance to win one of the cash prizes listed below:

-Six $100,000 prizes for the Winnipeg Region.

-Eight $100,000 prizes for the Southern Health–Santé-Sud, Prairie Mountain Health, Interlake-Eastern and Northern health regions.

-20 $25,000 scholarships for youth aged 12 to 17.

This will not be the only vaccine lottery the province is rolling out to incentivize Manitobans to get the jab, as the province also announced that citizens who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine on or before September 6th would be entered to win the vaccine lottery that will be taking place in the fall.
