Rotary does more than just fundraising for projects in Dauphin.
The district manager, Malcolm Strang, stopped by the Al Morning Show this morning and shared one of the highlights the club does to help people around the world.
“In the last 30 years, Rotary has been a major actor, a major mover and shaker in the reduction and the near elimination of Polio. Last year, in 2017, we immunized 430 million people along with our partners in the elimination of Polio.”
Over 17 million people have not got Polio in part because of the work was done by the Rotary Club.
