Changes to the boundaries of all 57 electoral divisions in Manitoba will be up for public discussion next month.
The changes would see Dauphin and Swan River combine into one electoral district, as well, Ste. Rose Du Lac would become part of the Aggasiz electoral district. The changes, once the final report is made, won't take effect until the provincial general election in October of 2020.
If you would like to have a say, you can do so on September 13th from 10am until noon at the Lion's Den in the Parkland Rec Complex. You must register in advance, which you can do at http://www.boundariescommission.mb.ca/.
