Job Description
Prairie Mountain Health is hiring a part-time, permanent Engineer – 3rd Class in Dauphin, MB!
The Engineer III shall be accountable to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the physical plant and infrastructure within Prairie Mountain Health (PMH). The incumbent must ensure a constant continuous supply of steam for heating the hospital buildings and various departments. They will work closely with the Chief Engineer to provide support services to other maintenance personal as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Grade 12 education (MB Standards)
* Third Class Power Engineering Certificate as recognized by the Province of Manitoba
* At least two (2) years operating experience in a 1st or 2nd class plant
* Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health
* Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology
* Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
* Demonstrated communication skills
* Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures
* Ability to display independent judgment
* Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
* Ability to respect and promote confidentiality
* Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis
