DANNY MICHEL TAKES HIS BEST IMPULSE BUY EVER ON THE ROAD: WESTERN CANADA TOUR DATES + “DAN’S SPACE VAN” WEB SERIES BLAST OFF IN JUNE. 
 
Danny Michel is headed out west for a string of solo shows that stretch from Victoria, BC to Winnipeg, MB in early June. Between stops on the tour, Michel will also be launching a new mobile webcast called “Dan’s Space Van,” inspired by an online purchase that made national news earlier this year. 
 
Craigslist treasure hunters will understand the story behind this upcoming adventure. When a listing for a 1970's custom Star Trek van went viral in early 2015, Michel, a small collector of vintage cars, just couldn’t resist. After sitting in storage for 33 years, this blast from the past will now cross Canada with its proud new owner.
 
“Dan’s Space Van” tour will feature stops along the way for interviews and performances from familiar musical guests. Michel will also chat with the van’s original owner and the artist responsible for the its distinct murals. And yes, these will all happen inside the van, where its exquisite crushed velvet interior will be on glorious display.
