ZAC BROWN BAND ACHIEVE CHART MILESTONE
Zac Brown Band have achieved a rare feat. They have been number one on both the Billboard country airplay chart and the mainstream rock chart. Zac Brown Band have had 11 country airplay number-one songs, the latest being ``Homegrown.'' ''Heavy Is The Head,`` their collaboration with Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, tops the mainstream rock chart this week. The only other act to have achieved number-one songs on both charts is Bon Jovi.

VH1: ``THE OSBOURNES'' REBOOT ``NOT GOING TO HAPPEN''
``The Osbournes'' will not be returning to TV.
The Hollywood Reporter quotes VH1 executive Susan Levison as saying the return of ``The Osbournes'' reality show is ``not going to happen.'' She says the Osbourne family has been ``absolutely lovely'' and they'd love to figure out a way to make it work in the future. The original run of ``The Osbournes'' ran for four seasons on MTV.

JONI MITCHELL
There are conflicting reports on the well-being of Canadian folk icon Joni Mitchell. A message posted on the legendary singer's website on Tuesday states Mitchell is alert, and is still hospitalized but is expected to make a full recovery.
But earlier in the day, Leslie Morris -- who is identified in a court filing as Mitchell's friend of more than 44 years -- filed a petition to be named conservator, saying the multi Gramy-winner is unconscious and unable to make medical decisions for herself. Morris is not seeking control of Mitchell's estate, but says she is asking for the appointment because the singer has no family who can serve as her conservator. Mitchell has been in hospital since March 31st when she was found unconscious in her L-A home.

_ Tracy, the little girl who played tambourine and travelled along on the bus with her mom and older siblings. Suzanne Crough Condray has died. Coroner's officials near Las Vegas confirm the news. She was 52. An autopsy is set for today to determine how and why she died _ though the coroner says no results will be released until lab results are done. ``The Partridge Family'' was a sitcom about a widowed mom and her five kids who form a band. It starred Shirley Jones, with real-life stepson David Cassidy as the resident teen heartthrob.

KINGSMEN SINGER JACK ELY DIES
One of the most misunderstood singers in rock history has died. Jack Ely (EE'-lee) of The Kingsmen died at his home in Redmond, Oregon, after a long illness, according to his son. Ely was 71. Ely's incoherent singing on ``Louie, Louie'' prompted an FBI investigation into whether it was obscene. Ely had a falling-out with the band after that over ownership of the band name. He later became a horse trainer.

SAM SMITH INJURES VOCAL CORD
Sam Smith has been silenced. He writes on Instagram he has a small hemorrhage on his vocal cord. His doctors ordered him to rest or risk long-term damage. Smith has cancelled his tour of Australia. He plans to make up the tour but he does not say how long he needs to rest.

STING NABS TONY NOMINATION
Sting's musical was a flop but he still has a chance at a Tony Award. Sting has been nominated for best original score for ``The Last Ship.'' Sting says he's thrilled to be nominated and he wasn't even thinking about a Tony nomination. He says the whole ``Last Ship'' experience as been ``a joy from start to finish'' and the nomination is ``just another iteration of joy.''
The Tonys will be given out June 7 in New York.

MERLE HAGGARD IS AWARDED HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
Merle Haggard finally has his high school diploma at the age of 78. The Bakersfield Californian reports Bakersfield High School principal David Reese presented Haggard with a diploma Saturday before Haggard's show in Bakersfield. Haggard pointed out he only went to the school nine days. Haggard skipped school starting with the first week of his freshman year. He spent time in juvenile detention centres before eventually landing at San Quentin Prison for burglary. Haggard discovered music and stayed out of trouble after that.

MARIAH CAREY IS READY FOR VEGAS
Mariah Carey is not saying directly whether she will use backing tracks during her Las Vegas show, but she's willing to get up close and personal if you have any doubts about her voice.
Carey will begin her Las Vegas residency with a show May 6 and continue with performances through July. When asked about backing tracks, Carey said, ``I have so many overlapping parts and background vocalists and background things that there's always some confusion in something about it.'' She added if there's any concern about whether she's actually singing, ``You're welcome to come to my house and sing in the shower with me. It's not a problem.''

JUDGE ORDERS TRIAL FOR MAN ACCUSED OF STABBING MEMBER OF NICKI MINAJ'S CREW
The death of a member of Nicki Minaj's crew in February was the result of an argument after he walked a bartender to her car, according to testimony. Minaj pianist Marcus Kincy testified in Philadelphia yesterday Devon ``Day Day'' Pickett had escorted a bartender to her car and defendant Pierce Boykin took issue with that. Pickett died from stab wounds and another member of Minaj's crew was injured. Boykin's lawyer says there's no evidence that Boykin was the culprit. A judge disagreed and ordered Boykin on trial for murder and attempted murder.

ANN WILSON MARRIES
Singer Ann Wilson of Heart is a new bride. People magazine reports Wilson married Dean Wetter in the backyard of Wilson's manager in Topanga, California, on Saturday. Wilson wore a purple lace gown and purple irises in her hair. Wilson says she met Wetter in the 1980s and he rejected her attempts to seduce him. She says they got back in touch years later and she calls him ``my friend, my angel, my husband.''

AUTHORITIES LOCATE ELTON JOHN'S GLASSES
Elton John's heart-shaped glasses have been found. Memphis police say an investigator lifted prints and matched them to a suspect identified as 26-year-old Matthew Colvin. Police called Colvin and he told them where the glasses were. They had been stolen from the Rock 'n' Soul Museum last week. Police in Southaven, Mississippi, recovered the glasses. However, Colvin can't be found.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest. The glasses are back on display.

ANDREW W.K. GETS RADIO SHOW ON GLENN BECK'S NETWORK
Andrew W.K. is getting his own radio show. His new employer might surprise you. Andrew W.K. will do a show beginning Saturday called ``America W.K.'' on TheBlaze Radio Network, owned by conservative commentator Glenn Beck. Andrew W.K. says he was shocked when Beck asked him to do a show, but Beck is allowing him to say whatever he wants. He says, ``If people never went outside their own box, life would be boring.'' Beck says he and Andrew W.K. are ``strange bedfellows'' but their mutual audiences are already starting to find things in common.
Andrew W.K. will perform at this year's Dauphin's Countryfest! Tickets are still available.

It was a rough night for Team Blake on ``The Voice.'' Two of Team Blake's singers were in the bottom three and both are going home. Team Xtina's India Carney was also in the bottom three, but she was saved by the instant Twitter vote. Now, both Team Blake and Team Adam have one singer left each. Team Pharrell and Team Xtina have two apiece moving into the Top 6 and will perform again next week.
