"It is with a happy heart that my wife, Cecilia, and I introduce our daughter, Mila Elizabeth Kissel, to the world. Mila, arrived at 6:09 Sunday morning, weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces. This precious little girl already has her mother’s beauty. Cecilia is happy, healthy, and took pregnancy to a new level. I am in awe of her strength as a woman and how perfect she is as a new Mom. My heart couldn’t be happier, and as a new father, I couldn’t be more proud. Here she is, only minutes old.... #ProudDaddy #BabyMilaKissel#BestDayofOurLives #SoInLove ——@CeciliaKissel @OhMyCharlie. DON FELDER REMEMBERS GLENN FREY
Don Felder had always hoped he and Glenn Frey would speak again. Felder says he felt ``unbelievable sorrow'' hearing the news of Frey's death on Monday. Felder says Frey was ``the leader and everybody looked up to him.'' Felder and Frey famously fought on stage during The Eagles show in Long Beach, California, in 1980 that led to the breakup of the band. They regrouped in 1994, but Felder was forced out of the band in 2001.
Felder says in spite of their difference, he remembers Frey most for the music they made together and for the ``laughter and the parties.'' Felder says he has not been in contact for years with Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh or Timothy B. Schmit, but Randy Meisner called him when Frey died. Felder says Meisner was in tears.

GLENN FREY MOURNED IN WINSLOW, ARIZONA
The town of Winslow, Arizona, danced last night in celebration of the life of the man who helped make them cool again. Winslow was a forgotten town when Interstate 40 displaced Route 66 and routed travellers around its downtown. Frey sang about standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, in the song ``Take It Easy,'' and people came to town hoping the girl in the flatbed Ford would slow down to take a look at them. The town created Standin' On The Corner Park with a statue of a guitar player and a mural of the girl in the Ford in the late 1990s. Tom McCauley, who is part of a foundation that stages the annual Standin' On The Corner Festival, says this year's festival in September will be dedicated to Frey.

STING AND PETER GABRIEL WILL LAUNCH ``ROCK PAPER SCISSORS'' TOUR
Sting thinks Rock Paper Scissors is the perfect game, because no one can have dominance. Peter Gabriel thinks it's a great game because he cheats at it. Gabriel says the trick is to wait a fraction of a second to see what the other person throws before throwing his own hand. He says he's always been a little bit behind. Sting and Gabriel will begin their Rock Paper Scissors tour June 21 in Columbus, Ohio. Gabriel says, ``'Rock' makes the music, 'paper' is an offer we can't refuse and 'scissors' we do the business and then we're off.'' He says he knows he'll get along fine with Sting on tour because they had a great time together during the Amnesty International Tour in 1986. He says they had a lot of great music and pillow fights on that tour.

DAVID BOWIE DOMINATES BILLBOARD ROCK CHART
There are 50 positions on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart. David Bowie occupies 21 of those spots. The highest-ranking song is ``Lazarus'' at number 3. All seven songs from his ``Blackstar'' album are on the chart. Bowie shatters the record held by Mumford and Sons, who had 14 songs on the chart after the release of their ``Babel'' album in 2012.

DAVID BOWIE TURNED DOWN COLDPLAY COLLABORATION
You know David Bowie had high standards if he refused to collaborate with Coldplay. Coldplay drummer Will Champion tells New Music Express they had a song with three parts, and one part had a Bowie-like character. Singer Chris Martin phoned Bowie to ask him to sing on the track. Champion says Bowie responded, ``It's not a very good song, is it?'' They took that as a no. Champion says Bowie was ``very discerning'' and wouldn't put his name on just anything, so he'll give Bowie credit for that. Champion did not say what the song was or if they ever released it.

LORETTA LYNN EXPLAINS HER ONE INDULGENCE
Loretta Lynn never was a smoker or a drinker, and she credits that as the reason she's still going strong at 83. However, one thing she will never give up: those frilly sparkly dresses she wears in concert. She says they're heavy, ``but hey, work's not easy.'' Lynn will be the subject of a PBS ``American Masters'' documentary in March, and she will release a new album called ``Full Circle'' at that time. In spite of the name, Lynn says it likely won't be her last album. She says she's got a houseful of kids and grandkids, and she's doing it for them.

JOHN LEGEND TAKES FIRST SPEAKING ROLE IN A MOVIE
John Legend will play a musician in the upcoming film ``La La Land,'' and he doesn't play a piano player. Legend had to learn guitar for the role. It's not his first time in a movie, because he was in ``Soul Men,'' but he didn't speak in that film.
This time he has lines. Legend says it was a real education for him because he had to learn dialogue and to improvise with Ryan Gosling.
