NATALIE COLE - REMEMBERED

Funeral arrangements are still being worked out for Natalie Cole. She died Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 65 from ongoing health issues. She had suffered from drug problems and hepatitis, and she had a kidney transplant in 2009. Aretha Franklin calls Cole one of the greatest singers of our time and ``she represented the Cole legend of excellence and class quite well.''

Tony Bennett says Cole was ``a lovely and generous person who will be greatly missed.'' Jordin Sparks says she was lucky enough to share a stage with Cole a few years ago but doesn't remember too much of her own performance because she was in awe of Cole.

CHRIS BROWN - INVESTIGATION

Las Vegas police are looking into an incident in which Chris Brown is accused of getting in a fight with a woman who tried to take his picture. Authorities got a call Sunday morning about an altercation at the Palms Casino Resort. The woman told police Brown hit her and took her cellphone. Brown left before detectives could speak to him. Brown publicist Nicole Perna says the woman's charges are ``unequivocally untrue.'' She says the woman was escorted out of the private party for being ``disruptive and out of control'' and hotel security cameras caught the woman's ``wild behaviour.''

He shouted out an expletive and said, ``I guess we broke it.'' Motley Crue filmed the show for a D-V-D release later this year.
