Eagles of Death Metal are finally speaking about the attack on their concert in Paris more than a week ago. He says the killers made it to the band's dressing room, where several people had hidden. Hughes says nearly everyone in the room was killed, except one person who hid under Hughes' leather jacket. Eighty-nine people died in the club. HBO released a short clip and says the full interview will be available on VICE's website this week.

DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT EAGLES OF DEATH METAL ATTACK

Survivors at the Eagles of Death Metal show in Paris say the killing began even before the attackers entered the Bataclan night club. One witness says he saw the gunmen pull up to the club and shoot two young men on bikes who happened to be going by. Other witnesses say the attackers unleashed gunfire through the bar and merchandise counter and went straight to the main floor. A police commissioner and his driver heard the police reports coming in and sped to the hall. They charged inside and shot one gunman before he could use his rifle. The remaining gunmen took hostages and used them as human shields. The attack lasted two and a half hours. A witness says a police intervention team fired precision shots at the gunmen in the space between two hostages. Eighty-nine people of the 130 killed that night in Paris were at the Bataclan.
