Gordie Johnson and his band Big Sugar brought their acoustic version of the group to Dauphin Sunday night for a triumphant show at the beautiful historic Watson Art Centre.  The enthusiastic crowd filled the hall clapped or sang along with the band.  Along with new music from last year's "Yard Style" disc, the 8 piece band also delivered re-interpreted versions of Big Sugar classics such as Little Bit a Alright, Turn the Lights On and Diggin' a Hole just to mention a few.  They also included covers of Dear Mr. Fantasy and Bachman-Turner Overdrive's classic Let It Ride!

The Dauphin and District Allied Arts Council wishes to thank all who came out for the show Sunday night for their continued support of live music and the arts in the Parkland.
