Beginning Friday at noon, the Society will be holding their 4th annual yard and bake sale featuring a number of household items and baked goods for sale.
President of the Winnipegosis Historical Society, Pauline Riley says the sale will also be selling home made jam. All the jam was made from an old practice known as canning.
She said, "You can take fruit making jellies and jams, you can take your pickles and preserve them for the winter... it's an old form of preserving food which has been going on for a long time."
The yard and bake sale will also be running Saturday from 9 am - 3 pm.
