Jean-Louis Guillas, director at the Dauphin Public Library says this year's book fair was a record for a single sale.
The Dauphin Rotary Club normally has two book fairs, and this was the last one for the year.
Guillas says they wouldn't be able to do all this without everyone's support.
"It's really gratifying to see the steady support that we get from the community and also to see how pleased the community is that we put this on."
Their next book fair wont be until November.
Last year they raised just under $6,000.
