Direct farm marketing and supply management are some of the main themes for next week's convention for National Farmers Union in Manitoba.
Regional coordinator Ian Robson says this convention provides an opportunity for farmers to get together and discuss various issues, and he wants to see as many people there as he can.
"It's a very important time of the year to come together and take a day and discuss serious issues like trade deals, farm organizations, soil and do a very good discussion."
Robson says farmers need to come together and bring their ideas about finding solutions to common problems for farmers.
The convention takes place July 11 in Portage la Prairie.
