Tomorrow is International Scoliosis Awareness Day and there will be an awareness event taking place right here in the Parkland.
The "Straight Walk for Curvy Girls" starts tomorrow at 11:00am at Clear Lake.
The leader of the Curvy Girls of Manitoba, Amy Kreshewski, says she decided to organize the event after starting the Curvy Girls of Manitoba group last year.
"It was last summer that I started the group for Manitoba, and June 27 is Scoliosis Day. Along with all the other 60 groups, we all plan to have a walk around this time of year."
Kreshewski says she joined the International Curvy Girls Organization after being diagnosed with Scoliosis in 2012.
