A situation in Duck Bay allegedly involving a youth with a firearm is now under control.
Sergeant Bert Paquet from Manitoba RCMP media relations says officers were called to the report of a distraught young male observed with a possible firearm at a residence.
Duck Bay School was temporarily locked down for safety reasons.
A 15-year-old boy is in custody.
Sergeant Paquet says nobody suffered any injuries and he has no confirmed shots fired.
