UPDATE:
A plan to paint yellow fish near storm drains in Dauphin won't be happening tonight.
Candace McMillen, Cub leader for Fourth Dauphin Scouts, says the reason is because of the severe thunderstorm watch in effect.
She says they will probably try again in the fall, but for now they're letting the kids go for the summer.
------
Motorists in Dauphin are being reminded to think of the children when on the roads tonight.
Six kids from the Fourth Dauphin Scouts will be in front of Barker Elementary school this evening from 6:30 till 8:30 painting the street as part of the Yellow Fish Road program.
Cub leader Candace McMillan says the Yellow Fish Road is a national program that teaches children environmental responsibility.
"We go around and we paint a yellow fish next to storm drains and the words rain water only, to remind people that this is for fresh water only. You don't dump any kind of chemicals... your paint, your gas, your soap from washing your car. Nothing goes in stormdrains because they go directly into our fresh water lakes and rivers."
This is the first year the Fourth Dauphin Scouts have participated in the Yellow Fish Road project.
