A man in the community possibly posing as a Manitoba Hydro employee has Dauphin RCMP issuing a public warning.
Police received a report yesteday from a residence on King Street about a suspicious male.
The homeowner reports a man claiming to work for Hydro requested access to the house to read the meter on June 10th; he was denied entry.
The suspect is described as being a white male in his 40s, wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans, with glasses and brown curly hair.
All Manitoba Hydro employees carry photo ID, and you can contact Hydro to verify if a person is an employee.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Parkland RCMP or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
