A Dauphin resident wants people to be made aware of a potential telephone scam she encountered yesterday.
Ann Willey says she received a phone call that showed her own number on her call display.
Willey says she answered the call which told her about issue with her credit card, though Willy says she doesn't have one, and she alerted Dauphin RCMP about this.
Constable Rob Tuff says they've received several reports about similar incidents from people, and also said similar calls have happened in their own office.
MTS issued a warning about this scam earlier this year, saying they believe the calls are from outside their own network.
