Dauphin Rec Services is opting for chemically sealing a brine leak at Credit Union Place.
DRS general manager Terry Payne says CIMCO and DRS operations staff feel like it is the more cost-effective option and won't cause more damage, which jackhammering the floor could do.
Payne says the cost of the product and installation by CIMCO will be about $11,000.
He says the product, called Rink Seal Pro, will circulate in the system for a month until the plant is started up in August.
