Dauphin's Relay for Life has surpassed its goal this year, with more money still coming in.
Committee chair Angela Kotyk credits the participants and promotion.
"Well, I think it's a lot of things. I think we had really good promoting by CKDM and the Dauphin Herald. As well as, we had lots of people, lots of teams that were motivated and went above and beyond as far as going out and seeking donations for the relay. So I think it was just a combination of things."
Kotyk says at this point they have raised $83,336. The goal this year was around $74,400.
She says people can donate to the Canadian Cancer Society at any time, but you should donate this week if you want it to count towards this relay.
