A snowmobile accident this past weekend has prompted safety concerns from the Snowmobilers of Manitoba.
Yvonne Rideout, executive director of SNOMAN, says it's best to travel in groups along groomed trails.
She also states that it's very important to obey signs and know when riders are coming toward you on two way trails.
As for the Parkland, Dauphin area trails are not yet open.
