Education and awareness about drug addictions is kicking off in Brandon in the New Year.
The Westman Families of Addicts is hosting a public education forum on January 9.
Speakers are scheduled to talk about addictions, including local advocate Kim Longstreet, who plans to share her son’s battle with drugs.
She is also calling on the government to set up a detox centre in the city.
