Audits are still to take place, but the city of Dauphin is projecting surpluses for 2017.
According to CAO Brad Collett, the general fund is expecting a surplus of $280,000.
As for the utility fund, it is expecting a surplus of 450 to 460 thousand dollars.
Collett says extra money will be moved to the water and sewer reserve to pay for future projects and repairs.
