23 people have been charged with impaired driving offences during Week Two of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program.
22 were alcohol-related and 1 was for drugs. The highest blood/alcohol reading this week was almost 3 times the legal limit at 0.23. 10 alcohol-related tiered administrative roadside suspensions were handed out.
476 traffic-related charges were laid, most of them speeding and seatbelt related with over 140 warnings given out.
