Grandview HealthCare Solutions is sending a wish to the provincial government for the New Year.
The community has put together a collection of seasonal cards for people to sign.
Barbara Grexton, member of the committee, talks about why they are doing this.
“So it came out of a concern that Premier Pallister has been saying a number of times in the past week that rural hospitals are likely to be closed and so the concern we had is because our EMS has been slated for closure,” explained Grexton. “We have been trying to explain why we think that should stay open and there was concern that our hospital may be closed.”
The cards will express how the people of Grandview want to see their hospital and ambulance operational for years to come.
