134 members of Prairie Mountain Credit union attended last night’s AGM where they voted in favor of a merger with Sunrise Credit Union.
Armin Glas talks about what is next in the merger process after 97 percent of the members voted 'yes'.
“The easy job is done, getting the members to vote, and now the hard work begins getting all our parts together and making sure it’s a seamless transition. So April 1st will be the merger date so we have a lot of work to do and looking forward to it!”
The organization is entering with Sunrise in a good financial position. PMCU presented their 2017 financial results at the AGM last night as well.
