Municipalities in the Parkland have until December 22nd to decide if they are going to allow the sale of pot in their communities.
The provincial plan lets municipalities have the final say on how they regulate retail sales. This has caused many officials attending the Association of Manitoba Municipalities conference to get worried as they now have less than one month to make some important decisions.
The only regular council meeting for the City of Dauphin between now and the deadline is scheduled for December 11th.
