The Intermountain Conservation District is hosting a Beaver Damage Control Workshop at the Grandview Legion on Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm.
This workshop focuses on methods to reduce the risk of damage from beaver activities, including trapping and non-lethal techniques.
Jeff Thiele talks about one of the specialists presenting at the event.
“Janine Stewart, from Swan River, she’s the human Wildlife Conflict specialist for the Manitoba government. She’s going to talk about the biology of beavers and she has a number of things she’s working on. How to control some of the flooding from the beavers and to do it in a humane way.”
