Two new apartment buildings at CFB Shilo will give military families a better choice.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first building was held today.
Lt. Col. Dave McIntrye, who is the base commander in Shilo, says "We're trying to offer choice to our military families and this represents 18 new units that give them that choice.”
The Canadian Forces Housing Agency has invested more than 14.5 million dollars into CFB Shilo in the last two years.
