A record number of students will be graduating from the Assiniboine Community College Parkland Campus later this week.
Campus director Gabe Mercier says there will be 130 students graduating from nine different programs, which are the highest numbers the campus has ever seen.
Mercier says there are some interesting highlights among this year's crop of graduates.
"This year will be the first year for a while that we're graduating a PM from the Practical Nursing Program. This year, we'll also be graduating a high number of mature high school students. We're not a high school, but we'll be graduating about 36 mature high school students, which is the highest number we've had at Parkland campus."
Mercier says the high numbers can be attributed to some of their most popular programs all having students graduating simultaneously.
"That includes our two year early childhood education. It's also a grad year for the practical nursing program and so that's one of the reasons for the high numbers, and also the high numbers from our mature high school program as well."
Because of the high numbers of graduates this year, Mercier says Friday's ceremonies will take place in the curling rink at the Parkland Rec Complex.
The ceremonies will start at 2:00pm at the Parkland Rec Complex Curling Rink.
Mercier says graduating students should arrive at the rink by 1:30.
