Farmers, ranchers, and consumers in the Parkland who have thoughts on how beef and cattle should be sustainably produced can voice their opinions in the final consultation of the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.
Monica Hadarits, the programs and verifications director for CRSB, talks about what they are looking at this time around.
“So this consultation is focusing on the beef processing sector. We have had two rounds of public consultations for the beef production indicators that we’re drafting. We welcome any feedback through our website and people can feel free to contact me if they have any questions or want to learn about the program anymore. “
Hadarits says there are other ways to stay informed about the work this CRSB is doing. “We also have the option on our website to sign up for our newsletter, which we send out every few months with updates. So if people are interested they can visit our website at www.crsb.ca and sign up for that newsletter.”
You have until November 4th to give your input on the Verified Sustainable Beef Framework.
