The Manitoba Showcase entertained Parkland residents in Russell this past weekend.
Workshops, a visual art exhibition of prairie artists, and many performances were available to those who attended. Nicole Shimonek the Visual Arts Director talks about how the event went.
“I think it went excellent. Everybody enjoyed themselves. There was a lot of networking between the performers and the presenters. There was a lot of new ideas that came out of the workshops and the networking, and a lot of the performers and the presenters got a chance to see a broad variety of performers.”
The International Peace Gardens are hosting next year’s showcase.
