The Sunrise Health Region in Saskatchewan is reporting a 800% increase in HIV cases for 2016.
3 first nations, Cote, Key and Keeseekoose, near Kamsack are facing an HIV outbreak.
Drug use is considered a major problem in the area and has been determined as the main cause for HIV infections for the region.
The area has held 3 HIV testing stations which had a record breaking number of patients come out for testing.
