Today is World Teacher's Day in Manitoba.
In honour to celebrate the Manitoba Education and Training Minister Ian Wishart, is encouraging nominations for educators for Manitoba's Excellence in Education Awards.
The awards will be presented in the following categories: teaching excellence; outstanding new teacher; outstanding team collaboration; outstanding school leader and Premier's Award for Excellence in Education.
