RCMP will have four main priorities when policing Gilbert Plains.
Reeve Blake Price says the priorities came out of a discussion between council and RCMP.
He says the focus will be on four broad categories.
"Targetting the prolific offenders is one of them, and the drug enforcement within the community, traffic enforcement, and targetting property crime."
Price says individuals in the community can help by making RCMP aware if they know of any of these issues.
