Today is day 5 of Rotary Radio Week at CKDM and a dedicated group of individuals, known as the Rotary Club of Dauphin, are set to making the community and the world a better place.
Wanda Sime, local Dauphin Rotarian, explains the benefits associated with the youth exchange program.
“Our youth exchange student gives us an opportunity to reach out into the world and learn more about different people and different cultures by bringing them into our home,” explained Sime. “Not only do we get to learn a little bit more about places like Italy and individuals who live there and their culture. We also get to send a little bit of information and knowledge about who we are out into the world as well.”
