Three western Manitoba communities are going to have to make a choice about libraries.
Ellice-Archie, West Interlake, and Oakview are three municipalities forged through amalgamation.
All three now contain former municipalities that were members of the Parkland regional library, as well as former municipalities with a different library.
None of the three have decided what to do yet.
Ellice-Archie has a year to decide; West Interlake expects a plan by the end of the year, but it sounds like neither library will close; Oakview has also put the matter on the backburner for now.
