Organizers for Sunday's Walk for MS are hoping for better weather than what the Parkland experienced last weekend.
Event coordinator Tamara Wills says the walk on Sunday in Clear Lake will go rain or shine.
"We're definitely hoping that we're not getting like we've had this past weekend. We're hoping that our May long weekend was the end of the snow on the ground. We're moving forward with anticipation that we're gonna have sunshine. There are shelters that are going to be available and the event is a rain or shine event. We're going to be out there to help support MS regardless of what the forecast does have."
Wills says so far there are 66 registered participants and 13 teams for the Walk for MS, which is an increase from last year.
