Charges have been laid following the shooting of a police officer last week.
RCMP responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Kemnay Friday evening.
It is alleged, upon arrival, suspect Clayton Ewert threatened the officers before firing a gun at them, striking one of them.
48-year-old Ewert faces multiple charges including attempted murder, uttering threats to kill, assault, and discharging a firearm.
He's been remanded into custody, and will appear in Brandon Provincial Court today.
The officer wounded in the shooting was treated for non-life threatening injuries at hospital and was released.
