Now that City of Dauphin has completed their budget for 2015, mayor Eric Irwin says the main priority for him right now is economic development.
Irwin says economic development is a topic he will discuss at the State of the City address on Tuesday at the Watson Art Centre.
"There's a lot of things in the wind, and I will be referring to some of them on Tuesday and some of the building projects, retail restaurants and so on that people can see going up around town now. I'm looking forward this term to basically two things. One, new economic development and new retail, and secondly, really focusing on improving our infrastructure."
Other topics Irwin will talk about debt, taxation, reserves and upcoming projects for the city.
