UPDATED - Canvassing has been cancelled in Grandview this evening due to the weather, and will be rescheduled to another night.
The next two nights will be busy for the Grandview Community Foundation.
The foundation will be canvassing the community as part of a fundraising effort tonight and tomorrow night.
Foundation chairperson Angela Kotyk says the money raised will end up back in the community through the foundation's community fund.
"Our community fund is the fund that we use to grant out donations to various organizations within the community. Every year, just as other foundations do, we accept grant applications for different things. Everything from minor hockey to things that the hospital or PCH might need in our community, and we take a look as the need and where we can help out."
Kotyk says they'll also be providing information to residents about what the foundation does as part of their canvassing effort.
The canvassing will take place tonight and tomorrow from 6:30 to 9:00.
