MTS customers in Camperville and some surrounding communities are still waiting to be able to use the Internet and their home phones.
But MTS says it has supplied a satellite phone for emergency use, which is available at the Camperville council office.
Approximately 615 wireline customers are unable to use their phones and use the Internet after a fire destroyed an MTS building and equipment early yesterday morning.
MTS says it is working to install a new building and equipment. The building and a connected power source is expected to be finished this weekend, but the installation of other equipment and facilities is expected to take several more days.
