The next PC candidate for the Riding Mountain constituency says he's going to try to continue meeting with people over the summer and fall.
Greg Nesbitt won the Conservative nomination for Riding Mountain on Saturday, a day after Brad Michaleski was voted as the candidate for the Dauphin constituency.
Nesbitt says financial responsibility is the big concern he's heard from residents.
"We can't continue to spend beyond our means, that's one of the biggest ones. Health care, personal care home beds in the area, government red tape-- those are the three big concerns that I heard."
Current MLA for Riding Mountain, Leanne Rowat, is not running in the next provincial election, scheduled for April 2016.
