Three youths are facing charges of possessing stolen property after police were called to Ochre River this weekend.
RCMP say, after a complaint on Sunday morning regarding a number of ATVs operating in the area, witnesses led officers from the Dauphin detachment to the Ochre River bridge on Highway 5. RCMP say they found two hidden ATVs and heard people in the bushes. Police set up a perimeter and a police service dog team was called in.
Police say two suspects were arrested trying to flee the area before the dog team arrived. A third suspect was later arrested with the help of PSD Eddie. The suspects are aged 14 to 16.
RCMP say investigators recovered two ATVs and a motorcycle recently stolen from the area.
The youths appeared in court today and were remanded until May 13.
