The Local Health Involvement Groups for Prairie Mountain Health still need volunteers from the Dauphin region.
Blaine Kraushaar from PMH says LHIG region 3 is the one area that doesn't have the group established yet due to a lack of volunteers so far.
"Essentially, they would be providing advice to the Prairie Mountain Health board and sharing their views on health care priorities in their communities and in their areas. Basically looking to give people a chance to raise any kind of issues or concerns or talk about priorities, and also learn about some of the successes and challenges we face in the region, and look at some the supporting information or data associated with that."
The communities in region 3 include Dauphin, Gilbert Plains, Winnipegosis, Waterhen, McCreary, Ste. Rose and Ethelbert.
