With only a day left, Prairie Mountain Health continues to educate residents in the region about mental illness.
Mental Illness Awareness Week is an annual national campaign that strives to educate Canadians about the realities of mental illness across the country.
Clinical Services Specialist for Mental Health at PMH, Tess Lelond says this year's campaign focused on a specific topic.
"Prairie Mountain Health really participated for years and years in this week, and what Mental Illness Awareness Week is it's really a national public awareness campaign... the theme this year was really about spreading awareness and reducing stigma and that message."
Mental Illness Awareness Week 2016 concludes tomorrow.
