The Manitoba Progressive Conservatives are expecting a strong turnout at Friday's nomination meeting in Dauphin.
The party's director of political operations Nancy Cooke says the Tories are expecting over 500 registered voters at the meeting.
Cooke says it will be a busy evening.
"We're going to be beginning the registration and voting at 5:00pm. Then our guest speakers, which will be the candidates and also the leader of the party Brian Pallister will be speaking starting at 7:00pm. The voting will end at 8:00pm and after that we'll count the ballots and should should have a winner selected shortly afterwards."
The three candidates running for the Dauphin PC nomination are Jim MacMillan, Brad Michaleski and Dwayne Sydor.
