A Canadian charity is making a difference for children in the Parkland.
This Sunday, the Dauphin chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation will be holding its 19th annual Family Fun Day offering games and activities for children of all ages.
Coordinator for the local Parkland chapter, Diane Maydaniuk says they recently had the privilege of helping one child's wish come true. She added, "They wanted to go to Rio for the Olympics, and they were there for the Opening Ceremonies and for part of the gymnastics competition which is what they had wished for."
The day's events will be running from 11 am - 4 pm at Vermillion Park.
